No casino for Rosehill

The Sydney Turf Club's proposal to build the a casino at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse has been dashed with the NSW Government's decision to award Tabcorp a 12-year extension of its Star City casino licence in return for a $100 million upfront fee, thus ruling out any second casino in the state. Tabcorp will invest $300 million to upgrade Star City.
