RTA could save with move to Parramatta

The RTA could have saved $7 million in taxpayers’ money had it moved its head office to Parramatta rather than to North Sydney, according to The Daily Telegraph. The RTA said it would pay $400 per square metre in the former Optus building when Parramatta agents said it could have paid $350 per square metre for space in Parramatta. The RTA said it was unable to find space available in the CBD.
