Fast-tracking new employment zone

The NSW Government has begun fast-tracking a 445-hectare site, between the M7 and Richmond Road, at Marsden Park, in north-west Sydney, for a business park or transport hub. Marsden Park Developments said the first buildings could emerge by 2011, although the site needs rezoning and development approval. Planning Minister, Frank Sartor, said the site – which is bigger than Norwest Business Park – could eventually become the largest employment zone in the North West Growth Centre, according to The Australian Financial Review.
