Parramatta. Not the best for quality of life

The Parramatta local government area (LGA), along with Auburn, Bankstown, Fairfield, Holroyd and Liverpool LGAs, were included among others across the nation, at the bottom of the inaugural BankWest Quality of Life Index. Baulkham Hills LGA, which adjoins the Parramatta LGA, to the north, was included in the top 20 per cent nationally on the quality of life. Data was gathered from official government sources on such factors as health, home ownership, employment, earnings, education, crime rates, internet access and volunteering.
