Hoxton Park. Airport for sale

Expressions of interest have been called for the sale of the 58.94-hectare Hoxton Park Airport. Two parcels of land are available separately or combined: 40.83 hectares industrial, 18.11 hectares residential. The property has an extensive frontage to the M7 Motorway and adjacent access ramps. Airport operations cease in December.

Hoxton Park should be kept open as an airport.
The abandonment of critical ifrastructure, especially airports, by the Federal Government, is just criminal. The Federal Government should repurchase Hoxton and keep it open.

I agree - Hoxton could be developed as a mixed use of residential airport related housing with attached hangars, as well as a commercial operation for servicing visiting aircraft. It needs to be open - to have only two airports in Sydney is ridiculous since efficient transport infrastructure is the backbone of any developed country.
Keep Hoxton Park open as an airport!
