Parramatta. Senior council officer dismissed
Dr Robert Lang, CEO, of Parramatta City Council, has dismissed Stephen Kerr, group manager corporate services, without notice, for inappropriate conduct in relation to matters that occurred prior to De Lang’s arrival, in July. “Regrettably, Mr Kerr was found to have acted inappropriately and breached council's policies, code of conduct and his contract of employment,” a council spokesperson said. Mr Kerr was one of three group managers who reported to Dr Lang. The corporate services group’s responsibilities include strategic assets, finance, information systems, human resources and strategic business improvement.
