Westnead. External review of hospital
External consultants have been brought in to redraw management reporting lines at crisis-torn Westmead Hospital, amid doctors’ complaints their clinical expertise was being overridden by bureaucrats, according to The Sydney Morning Herald. This follows a no-confidence vote by Westmead doctors against Professor Steven Boyages, CEO, of the Sydney West Area Health Service.
