Fairfield. New water recycling plant
A new water recycling plant is to be built at Fairfield to provide 4.3 billion litres of recycled water a year to be used at commercial sites such as Rosehill Gardens Racecourse and the Shell Refinery, at Clyde, as part of the $100 million Rosehill-Camellia Water Recycling Scheme contract The NSW Government has issued Veolia Water with the first licence under new water competition laws to draw water from a nearby sewerage treatment plant for recycling.
