Region. Funds for council plans

Only two Western Sydney councils were included in the announcement by the Minister for Planning, Kristina Keneally, that 26 local councils in NSW would share $1.4 million in the Planning Reform Fund. Blacktown Council will receive $100,000 for the development of the Blacktown Local Environment Plan and Parramatta Council, in conjunction with Hornsby Council will receive $125,000 for the Epping Town Centre Study to explore Epping’s potential growth an an employment and residential centre.
