Region. $33 million for fish project

The NSW Government has allocated $33 million to one of the largest rehabilitation projects ever to be undertaken on a coastal stream, in NSW, which is aimed at restoring fish migration and reinstating environmental flows, in the Nepean-Hawkesbury river system. It involves tagging hundreds of fish and building of 13 new fishways, expected to be completed by the end of 2010
