Region. UWS investigates discrimination
The University of Western Sydney is investigating allegations that three women were discriminated against racially when their jobs were culled after a restructure of the school of management, college of business. Seventeen administration officers lost their jobs in the restructure. Only six, including the three Asian-born women, applied for eight new positions at the school. The others took redundancy or found positions elsewhere, according to The Sydney Morning Herald
