North Ryde. Conference at hospital

Leading neurosurgeons from across Australia and overseas attended the Macquarie Neurosurgery 2010 conference, at the university’s new state-of-the-art hospital and medical school. Speakers included the Mayo Clinic's, Professor Michael Link, and the Barrow Neurologic Institute's chairman, of Pediatric Neurosciences, Harold Rekate. Professor Link's address focused on the Gamma Knife radiotherapy device. Macquarie University Hospital owns and operates Australia's only Gamma Knife.
