Parramatta City Council expects to own the entire 1.7-hectare site of the Civic Place project by the end of July. “That’s the trigger we’ve been waiting for and it should result in a development application being lodged by December this year. Our aim is to see construction start six months later,” said council’s CEO, Dr Robert Lang.
