A multi-million dollar redevelopment of 90-hectare Warwick Farm Racecourse will transform the venue into a sporting and entertainment precinct. Australian Turf Club chairman, John Cornish, said employment, business and economic benefits from master plans would be significant for the entire Liverpool community. “We expect the entire project to be completed over the next five years, subject to obtaining all the relevant statutory approvals," he said at a Liverpool Chamber of Commerce meeting at the racecourse, The Australian Turf Club resulted from the merger between the Australian Jockey Club and Sydney Turf Club earlier this year.
