Penrith. Request to be exempt

Penrith City Council is asking the Minister for Planning, Brad Hazzard, to exempt it from a cap that would cause a $46 million shortfall in infrastructure funds for new subdivisions in the planned Werrington Enterprise Living and Learning Precinct. While the council says the precinct is ready to provide lots, the sticking point is ensuring essential infrastructure will be provided.
