Ingleburn. 50 jobs to go

Building [products company, CSR, will trench 50 workers at its Ingleburn facility and 69 in Victoria, with the closure of its Viridian glass business – the largest provider of glass and the only Australian manufacturer of float glass and hard coat performance products – because of the because of the downturn in the construction industry. CSR launched the Viridian brand in 2007 following the acquisition of Pilkington and DMS glass. For $865 million.
