Sydney Ports Corporation’s manager of industry relations and logistics, Lachlan Benson, said the falling number, down 4.8 per cent, of containers moving by train from Port Botany was related to the closure of Patrick’s truck-to-train container terminal at Camellia.. “The closure of Camellia put a lot more trucks on the road because that volume was lost from rail to road,” he said.
