Parramatta. Foreshores plan
Parramatta City Council has called for tenders for the construction of a bridge fountain on the eastern side of the Barry Wilde Bridge, in the Parramatta CBD. Lord Mayor. Lorraine Wearne, said the project would help create an iconic attraction for Western Sydney and complement council's river foreshore activation program. Council has approved alterations to the heritage listed Lennox Bridge, also in the CBD, including the creation of two portals on either side of the Parramatta River to facilitate pedestrian and bicycle access.
