Norwest. Branch to close

Murray Goulburn Co-Operative, a milk supplier and retailer of dairy products, based in Victoria, will close its branch at Norwest as part of a restructure announced last month to reduce costs and increase competitiveness. The total workforce is set to reduce by about 12 per cent or 301 positions across processing sites, distribution centres and head office functions. The company said all employees whose roles are made redundant would receive full entitlements and staff would be supported with counselling and job transitioning services.
