Liverpool. Objection to concept plan

Liverpool City Council has lodged a submission with the Department of Planning and Infrastructure stating that the concept plan for the $490 million SIMTA Moorebank Intermodal Terminal Facility does not meet council’s requirements and requests further information for an assessment on local and regional impacts. SIMTA (Sydney Intermodal Terminal Alliance) is privately owned by Qube Logistics and QR National. The federal government is proposing a similar facility on adjacent Defence land.
