Parramatta. 'Impressed' by groups in project

Parramatta City Council’s Design Parramatta project attracted over 80 submissions from which 19 were chosen to attend a workshop. “I was impressed by the talents of the 19 teams chosen to take part in the project [they] will create 16 concept designs for spaces throughout the city,” said Lord Mayor,Lorraine Wearne. The project is a collaborative one between council and the NSW Government Architect’s Office which is about making dull, dark or dingy places in the city into active and attractive spaces for the community.
