Collins Foods, which operates 122 KFC restaurants and 27 Sizzler restaurants in Australia – with a total of some 40 outlets in Western Sydney – has described retail conditions as the worst it had yet experienced, which has contributed to a major slump in its share price since listing on the Australian Securities Exchange in August 2011.
