Marsden Park. Release of 445 hectares
The Minister for Planning, Frank Sartor, has released 445 hectares of employment land at Marsden Park, potentially creating the largest employment area in the North West Growth Centre and providing a welcome boost to the area’s economy. Planning of the precinct will be fully funded by Marsden Park Developments which will deliver the planning and major infrastructure for the project at no additional cost to the NSW Government Marsden Park Developments owns over 200 hectares of land at the centre of the precinct where it proposes to establish the Orbital Enterprise Park. The site is well positioned to become one of the largest employment centres in the city’s north-west, drawing on the major population catchment areas nearby and encouraging local residents to take advantage of the reduced commuting distance, the minister said.
