Region. UWS law students take out honours

Three University of Western Sydney law students have taken top honours in the Australian Law Students Association mooting competition, at the University of Tasmania. "The University is very proud of our three top mooters. Winning this prestigious competition is a significant contribution to the UWS School of Law and helps raise the standard of mooting across Australia and New Zealand," says Professor Michael Adams, Head, of the School of Law. All 33 Australian law schools, plus a number of invited International law faculties, entered the competition with the successful students in each category progressing to the major finals. The students were Jonathan Adamopoulos, Matthew Carr and Tim McGrath. Mr Adamopoulos also took out the competition's honourable Best Oralist Award. The three mooters have been invited to compete for Australia and UWS at the international round to be held in London.
