Rhodes. London paper outsources

Production of sections of the London daily newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, is understood to have commenced at the head office of Australian Associated Press (AAP), at Rhodes. In an attempt to costs, unedited copy is transmitted from London to Rhodes were it is produced Pagemasters before being transmitted back to London, according to The Sydney Morning Herald. Pagemasters, a company owned by AAP and set up in 1991, has more than doubled staff over the past two years to about 140 people, who subedit about 1800 pages a week.
