Minchinbury. Opposition to $45 million facility
A local residents’ group has objected to a proposal by Dial A Dump Industries, one of the State's leading waste management service providers, to build a $45 million building materials recycling facility in a disused quarry at Minchinbury. The group is concerned about possible exposure to asbestos. The company said asbestos would be buried 150 metres underground. The company told the ABC that 45 direct and over 100 indirect jobs would be created
