The liquidators of failed builder Beechwood Homes have initiated a $290 million claim against the founder, Larry King and his wife Pamela King, alleging the pair engaged in insolvent trading. Beechwood Homes was placed in voluntary receivership in May 2008 with debts estimated at $70 million, according to The Australia Financial Review.
