Parramatta. Hotel DA refused again

Parramatta City Council has refused an amended application for the restoration of the heritage-listed St Peter’s Church and its use as a restaurant, and the demolition of an adjacent church hall for the construction of an 11-storey (initially a 13-storey building) with basement parking for 20 vehicles. A reason for the refusal was the maximum height permitted for the site was 24 metres; the height of the amended application was 42 metres.
