Region. WSROC will make a submission
The Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (WSROC) has welcomed the appointment of Ron Christie to chair a public enquiry into Sydney’s ailing transport system, which has been launched by The Sydney Morning Herald.. WSROC president, Clr McLaren, said WSROC supported any process which would result in an integrated planning approach to public transport, particularly in Western Sydney, especially relating to the rail links to the growth centres in the North-West and South-West and the Parramatta to Epping extension. “We will, of course, present a submission to the enquiry chaired by Mr Christie,” she said.
