Region. Myer's stores doing well

Myer chief executive, Bernie Brookes, said he found it unusual that the retailer’s biggest growth stores in NSW were in Blacktown and Castle Hill. Mr Brookes said the stores had performed well despite no longer benefitting from the government’s stimulus package for consumers, which was paid a little over a year ago. “They’re lower socio-economic areas. What we’re seeing is quite unusual. They’re some of our best performing stores,” he said.
