Lidcombe. $7 milion modification at Tooheys

Minister for Planning, Tony Kelly, has approved a $7 million modification of the Tooheys brewery, at Lidcombe, that will allow the company to meet the growing demand for Heineken. The installation of five new fermentation vessels would enable Tooheys to increase local Heineken production by 45 per cent. Once the fermentation vessels were installed, the plant would produce all bottled and draught Heineken sold in Australia, Mr Kelly said.
