Region. WSROC cautious on cap rise
The Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (WSROC), at Blacktown, has cautiously welcomed the government’s announcement that the cap on some Section 94 levies would be raised to $30,000 as a first step in resolving the issue of cost shifting in providing essential community infrastructure. WSROC president, Clr Alison McLaren, stressed that the new cap would still leave a significant shortfall.
