Moorebank. Millions of lawn mowers

Victa headquarters, in Moorebank, has produced eight million lawnmowers over the past 60 years. It is a long way from the backyard of Mervyn Victor Richardson, at Concord, where the Victa story began. The prototype was made with scrap metal, billycart wheels, a peach tin for a fuel tank and an old two-stroke engine.
