Wetherill Park. Group buys company

The national packaging group, Pro-Pac Packaging Ltd, based at Wetherill Park, has purchased the business and assets of Space Pac Pty Limited, which has an annualised turnover of approximately $1.5 million and will immediately be integrated into the company’s void-fill operation in Marrickville. Pro-Pac's CEO, Brandon Penn, said “he was pleased to add a further environmentally friendly product to the group’s product offering. Pro-Pac reported a decrease in net profit to $5 million from $5.1 million in FY11, but said that barring costs associated with consolidating a division's operations, profit would have grown to $5.3 million.
