North Ryde. Official launch of centre

A new world-leading research centre that focuses on the Earth’s water cycle and deep Earth dynamics will be officially launched, at Macquarie University, on Wednesday, November 9, by the CEO, of the Australian Research Council (ARC), Professor Margaret Sheil. Macquarie has partnered with the University of Western Australia, Curtin University and the Geological Survey of Western Australia to establish the ARC Centre of Excellence for Core to Crust Fluid Systems (CCFS). The centre has already secured $12.4 million in funding over seven years from the ARC.
