Fairfield. Objection to retail outlet

Fairfield City Council objects to the proposed rezoning of land at Warwick Farm that has been designated for a large retail outlet centre. The planning proposal seeks to rezone a site, in the Liverpool LGA, for a retail outlet centre similar to DFO at Homebush. Fairfield's planners argue that such a development has the potential to have an adverse effect on existing retailers in Fairfield, Cabramatta and Prairiewood.
