Homebush. $40 million bridge proposal

The Department of Planning and Infrastructure has on public exhibition a proposal by Fairmead Business Pty Ltd for a 300-metre bridge across Homebush Bay that connects the two local emerging communities of Rhodes Peninsula and Wentworth Point (formerly known as Homebush Bay West). Ease of access to a more connected bus network and to Rhodes railway station would significantly benefit local Wentworth Point residents as well as the wider Homebush Bay/Sydney Olympic Park community and significantly increase bus and rail patronage. The estimated capital investment: $40 million.
