Parramatta
City Council will has forwarded a planning proposal to the Department of
Planning and Infrastructure for the 90-storey Aspire residential/hotel tower,
on the former Hungry Jack’s restaurant, corner of Church and Darcy streets.
Because of its height the project will require an aviation safety assessment
because it is in the flight path of planes using Bankstown Airport

project, at 171-187 Parramatta Road, Granville, including two residential
towers of 37 and 23 storeys.

tender from Urban Project Pty Ltd and Jane Irwin Landscape Architecture Pty Ltd
for consultancy services including design, relevant approvals and technical
signoff during construction for the shared path project, on the northern side
of Parramatta River from the Charles Street Weir to the Gasworks Bridge.

The Sydney West Joint
Regional Planning Panel has approved a DA including the construction of a
9-storey addition to the Parkroyal Parramatta, containing 90 rooms, additional
function space/meeting rooms and restaurant/bar areas The estimated cost of
work $20 million.
