Animal funerals could cost $10 million this year

Berkshire Park-based Animal Memorial Cemetery and Crematorium, which has seen business more than doubled in less and than five years, now conducts hundreds of cremations and burials per month. The Sunday Telegraph said cremations at about $300 were more popular than burials, which can cost more than $5000. Business information analysts, IBISWorld, Australians would spend about $10 million on funerals for pets this year.
