Parramatta. 220-unit project approved

The Sydney West Joint Regional Planning Panel has approved the demolition of buildings and construction of a 19-storey mixed-use development containing 220 residential units and ground floor commercial office space, over three levels of basement parking space, with strata subdivision, on a 2701.6-square-metre site, at 36-46 Cowper Street (on the corner of Cowper and Parkes streets). The applicant was Sonenco Group Pty Ltd and Jamaj Investments Pty Ltd. Estimated cost of the work: $35.7 million.
