Emu Plains. $5.8m substation boosts capacity
The completion of Integral Energy’s Emu Plains $5.8 million zone substation is expected to meet the area’s growing energy demands. The project involved the installation of new electrical infrastructure to increase the capacity of the substation. “Emu Plains has experienced a huge growth over the past 15 years, due to increased residential and commercial development. There is significant additional land to the north of the Emu Plains zone substation available for development to continue this trend,” the Minister for Energy, Ian Macdonald, said.
