Parramatta. $300m infrastructure project

Integral Energy seeks expressions of interest from people who work or live in the Parramatta CBD to represent the community’s interests, in an honorary role, in a $300 million electricity infrastructure project.

Emu Plains. $5.8m substation boosts capacity

The completion of Integral Energy’s Emu Plains $5.8 million zone substation is expected to meet the area’s growing energy demands. The project involved the installation of new electrical infrastructure to increase the capacity of the substation. “Emu Plains has experienced a huge growth over the past 15 years, due to increased residential and commercial development. There is significant additional land to the north of the Emu Plains zone substation available for development to continue this trend,” the Minister for Energy, Ian Macdonald, said.

Parramatta. Integral invests $150m in CBD

Integral Energy will invest $150 million over the next 15 years in new electricity substations in the CBD. An additional $108 million will be invested in facilities in Granville and Guildford. Integral’s CEO, Vince Graham, said demand for electricity was forecast to grow by 18 per cent over the next three years. The demand was due to changing energy use patterns such as the use of air conditioners as well as the new business and residential developments, he said
