Seven Hills. Shopping centre for sale

The Seven Hills Shopping Centre is on the market. The 19,438-square-metre centre, on a 4.5- hectare site, has a fully leased net income of $8.1 million annually. The centre’s tenants include Woolworths, Coles and Aldi supermarkets plus five mini- majors and 75 speciality outlets.

Parramatta. DAs in Eclipse Tower

CB Richard Ellis has lodged a DA with Parramatta City Council for the internal fitout and use of levels 1-9, in the Eclipse Tower, at 60 Station Street, in the Parramatta CBD. The estimated cost of the work is $14.3 million. Council has approved a DA lodged by Servcorp Pty Ltd for the fitout of level 15 in the same building. The estimated cost is $1.1 million.

Liverpool. Smoking ceremony

The Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research will mark the completion of the $50 million building with a traditional indigenous smoking ceremony on Thursday, July 26. Researchers are expected to move in in August, with the official opening on October 23. The institute is a charitable organisation that facilitates cutting-edge research on a range of disease areas affecting the local community in South West Sydney. Starting in 1996, the institute is a collaboration between the health services in South Western Sydney, UNSW and UWS.

Parramatta. On public exhibition

Parramatta City Council has on public exhibition a DA lodged by Frasers Morton Pty Ltd, for a staged development of a mixed-use development, at 2 Morton Street, Parramatta, of some 770 dwellings. Stage one contains 277 dwellings in a building up to 12 storeys. Stage 2 will be up to seven storeys and stage 3 up to 12 storeys.

Parramatta. Changing of zone

Parramatta City Council is exhibiting a proposal to amend the Parramatta LEP to change the zoning of land, at 2-12 River Road West, from industrial to a mixed-use building up to 12 storeys and public open space along the Parramatta River foreshore.
