Parramatta. Firms relocate to Eclipse Tower

QBE Insurance and Deloitte will occupy 12,000 square metres and 6000 square metres, respectively, or 70 per cent, of the 19-storey, 25,660-square-metre Eclipse Tower, under construction on the corner of Station and Hassall streets, and opposite the Commercial Hotel. The end value of the building will be about $170 million. Both companies will relocate from other premises in the Parramatta CBD

Sydney Olympic Park. Lodgings at the Lodge

Sydney Olympic Park Authority proposes to grant a short-term license in the Millennium Parklands for the operation and management of the Lodge as a low cost lodge accommodation facility in the Newington Armory. The proposed license is for the continued operation and management of the Lodge facilities for a period of less than 4 years.

Region. New housing options

Auburn Council is considering a plan to redevelop the former Lidcombe Hospital site into a subdivision while Blacktown Council is considering turning the existing Minchinbury Winery into three-storey townhouses, according to The Daily Telegraph in a report on Sydney's housing shortage.
