Bankstown. On the market

A 13,767-square-metre building, leased to the Federal Government and banking institutions, in Meredith Street, Bankstown, is for sale. The building, which has a 96 per cent occupancy, has a net income of approximately $4.1 million when fully leased. Some 76.4 hectares of land at Bankstown Airport is for sale with a 33.3 per cent equity share in the land. The zoning allows for industrial, retail bulky goods, commercial and aviation.

Castle Hill. Council calls for EOI

The Hills Shire Council is calling for EOI from developers to submit options on the future of the Terminus Street Precinct, which contains a mix of commercial and retail uses, and consists primarily of the council-owned public car park serving the Castle Hill shopping centre.

Parramatta. New CEO for bus company

Jim Glasson, director-general, of the Ministry of Transport, has resigned to become CEO, of Parramatta-based Comfort DelGro Cabcharge Pty Ltd, following the resignation of Owen Eckford. The company owns Westbus, HillBus and other bus companies.
