Parramatta. Green Globe Awards

Parramatta MP, Tanya Gadiel, encourages local businesses, not-for-profit groups and local agencies to enter the 10th Green Globe Awards, which recognise environmental achievement. Categories include commercial, industrial and government success in water, energy and waste management and climate change leadership. Nominations close on June 11. Winners will be selected by an independent panel of experts and presented at a ceremony at NSW Parliament House on July 28. Lidcombe. Properties sold for $4.01 million

An undisclosed private investor has bought a police station and courthouse complex, at Lidcombe, for $4.01 million, at auction. The properties have a total site area of 2834 square metres. The courthouse was sold with vacant possession. The police station was sold on a two-year leaseback to NSW Police at $39,000 gross rental. Robert Love and Frank Scarf, of Savills, handled the sale for the NSW Government.

Minto. Plumber buys warehouse

An owner-occupier has purchased a modern warehouse 394-square-metre unit for $540,000, at Minto, and plans to run his plumbing-hot water business from the site. Adrian Balderston, from Colliers International, handled the sale.
