Region. Economy takes toll on warehouses
Firms seeking to consolidate storage costs are pushing warehouse space onto the market and, in some cases, opting for smaller self-managed storage facilities. Jordan Mailman, of Jones Lang LaSalle, said business across all industries in Western Sydney, with dwindling inventories were trying to cut costs by subleasing space, or absorbing their operations into other satellite facilities, according to The Australian Financial Review.
