Parramatta. Economic decision deferred

Parramatta City Council has deferred for two weeks a decision to hold a workshop to discuss the re-introduction of an economic development board and the use of a special levy for economic development activities. Clr John Chedid said the board should aim to attract business representatives from major stakeholders who contribute to the levy and cover industries such as hospitality, finance, law, retail, tourism, health, IT and the building industry.
