'Logical hub to grow' - John McGrath

“Parramatta is an exciting area with enormous changes evident over the past few years. The area is rapidly expanding and a logical hub for us to grow into the surrounding regions,” said CEO, of McGrath Estate Agents, John McGrath, when announcing the opening of a company-owned office in The Barrington, in the Parramatta CBD. He said the office would focus on handling the better residential properties in premium suburbs adjacent to Parramatta, such as Oatlands, North Rocks and Carlingford. The office would have a training facility, and act as a regional hub to support the expanding McGrath franchise network.

Property group comes west

McGrath Estate Agents is expanding from its eastern suburbs base to Western Sydney by establishing a company-owned office in The Barrington office tower, in the Parramatta CBD. “The area has amazing potential and as we plan to open franchise offices in Strathfield and the Hills District it made sense to have this as a company-owned premises,” said CEO, John McGrath.

'Fantastic' media opportunity

Parramatta City Council has advertised for a media and communicators advisor on a salary ranging from $70,202 to $80,740, plus superannuation. “This is a fantastic opportunity to join (its) communications and marketing team,” the advertisement said. “To be successful in this role you need to be able to build strong relationships with journalists, run effective campaigns and be regarded as a credible advisor”. The officer acting in this position is to go on maternity leave.
