Camellia. Recycled water for local industry

Construction of the Camellia Reservoir, in Dunham Street, Camellia, is expected to commence in 2010, as part of the $100 million Rosehill Recycled Water Scheme, to initially deliver 4.3 billion litres of recycled water per year to industrial and irrigation customers in Smithfield and Rosehill/Camellia. Recycled water should be available for industrial use from early 2011. The scheme includes a new recycled water plant at Fairfield and a distribution network to Camellia. Veolia Water Australia Pty Ltd is contracted to AquaNet Sydney Pty Ltd to construct and operate the plant, and Jemena Asset Management Pty Ltd is responsible for the distribution network
